Bradley’s Big 4th Quarter Helps LA Tech Edge Liberty, 67-66

RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech freshman Paris Bradley scored 13 of her game-high 19 points during the fourth quarter of Thursday's matchup with Liberty, including the game-winning driving layup with 2.7 seconds remaining. Her heroics helped the Lady Techsters pull out a come-from-behind 67-66 win over Liberty inside the Thomas Assembly Center.
Liberty (15-6, 8-2 CUSA) led 54-44 entering the fourth quarter but could not hold off the hard-charging home team as its seven-game winning streak was halted. The Lady Flames were outrebounded on the night (27-24) and made only 26.7 percent (4-of-15) from the field in the fourth quarter as they were outscored, 23-12.
Winners of eight straight home games, Louisiana Tech (12-9, 5-5 CUSA) defeated the Lady Flames for the first time ever (in four meetings). The Lady Techsters overcame 24 turnovers by shooting 61.9 percent (26-of-42) from the field, including 88.9 percent (8-of-9) during the decisive final period.

Hess got off a turnaround three-point attempt at the final buzzer, but it fell short and Liberty lost for the first time in the last 100 games it had led with 5:00 remaining.
