
Men’s Tennis Travels for Georgia Tech Invitational, M15 Orlando

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty men's tennis team prepares to take on challenging competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational beginning on Friday. Liberty will be participating in the three-day, eight-team event that guarantees all participants three doubles and three singles matches. Carl Roothman will participate in the Orlando ITF Futures beginning on Monday.
The Flames are competing in the Georgia Tech Invite for the third consecutive season. Also participating in the event are three SEC programs (Alabama, Mississippi and Mississippi State), Georgia State, New Mexico and Yale.
All Flames will participate in the Georgia Tech Invitational, while just Roothman will head to Orlando for the ITF Futures at the conclusion of the eight-team event.

- Liberty is coming off the 2025 ITA Atlantic Regional. Benjamin Sparks excelled at the tournament, beginning in the qualifying and winning five straight matches to advance to the semifinal round.
- Sparks owns a team-best 7-2 singles record this fall. Two Flames, Carl Roothman (6-4) and Rodrigo Santiago Arraez (6-3), each own six-win marks in singles action.
- Liberty is 35-19 in singles as a team.
