
Flames Finish Play at Georgia Tech Invitational

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Liberty Flames tennis team wrapped play at the Georgia Tech Invitational last weekend with an even record. Carl Roothman also participated in the M15 Orlando, Fla., on Monday.
Liberty secured an overall 10-9 singles record and a 4-5 doubles mark. Redshirt freshman stood out for the Flames with a 3-0 record. Chase Robinson secured the best weekend overall with a 4-2 mark, dropping a single match in both singles and doubles.
Liberty competed against strong programs including Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Mississippi, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.
Carl Roothman secured a 2-0 singles mark and 1-1 doubles record at the Georgia Tech Invitational before competing in the M15 Orlando. The senior was ousted in the qualifying round despite a valiant effort against Donald Stoot, falling 4-6, 6-4, 13-11.
