
Liberty Prepares for Road Games at No. 21 Virginia Tech, West Virginia

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lady Flames soccer team begins a stretch of five consecutive road games with trips to No. 21 Virginia Tech on Thursday and West Virginia on Sunday. Thursday's contest is set for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. Sunday's tilt is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Liberty (6-0) seeks its second-ever victory over No. 21 Virginia Tech (5-0-1). Liberty was among the teams receiving votes (5) in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll.
The Lady Flames look to repeat a 3-1 result from last season when West Virginia traveled to Lynchburg, Va. It was the first-ever matchup between the programs.

- Both opponents this week have faced off with a common foe in Delaware. Liberty topped the Blue Hens 2-1 on Friday. Virginia Tech was victorious 1-0 over Delaware on Aug. 22 and West Virginia came out on top 2-0 on Aug. 15.
