Delaware recorded its first shot of the game in the 22nd minute and didn't pressure the goal a second time until the 63rd minute. Liberty unleashed 16 shots, forcing seven saves from Sophia Hall.
Margaret Garner etched the second tally of the game, also benefiting from Engle's gravity. After stumbling with the ball initially, Engle found Garner in the middle of the attacking zone with a pocket of space. The forward pushed ahead with a pair of strong touches, waiting for Hall to attack before sliding a shot by the goalkeeper.

Liberty extends its winning streak to 11 games while extending its streak of victories against CUSA opponents to 12 games. The Lady Flames are unbeaten against CUSA foes in their last 21 games.
