
Lady Flames Sweep Bulldogs, Open CUSA Play With 2-0 Weekend

RUSTON, La. - The Liberty volleyball team earned its second straight win over Louisiana Tech to open Conference USA play, cruising to a 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-15) victory on Saturday at Thomas Assembly Center.
The Lady Flames (8-6, 2-0 CUSA) have won three matches in a row and four out of their last five. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs fall to 6-9, 0-2 in Conference USA matches with their second loss in a row.

- Liberty held an opponent to a negative hitting percentage for the first time since Oct. 11, 2019, when NJIT hit -.022.
