LYNCHBURG, Va. - Liberty rebounded from a 25-20 set-one loss, rallying for a 3-1 (20-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-23) victory over Jacksonville State on Friday at Liberty Arena.
The Lady Flames (9-6, 3-0 Conference USA) ran their winning streak to four matches. Meanwhile, the Gamecocks fell to 7-9, 0-3 in CUSA play with their fifth straight loss.

- Liberty outhit Jax State .232-.194 for the match. The Lady Flames also led in kills (53-47), assists (49-44) and blocks (10-9). The Gamecocks led 56-52 in digs, while both teams served up eight aces.
- Kamryn Bacus led all players with 15 kills, while adding three aces. Kate Gammer totaled 14 kills and nine digs, while Elizabeth Helmich sent down 10 kills. Autumn Flowers posted six blocks, while Erica Lowery collected 11 digs. Charli Crowson dished out a team-high 23 assists on her birthday.

- Liberty leads Jax State 3-2 in the all-time series. The Lady Flames are 3-0 against the Gamecocks since both teams joined CUSA last year.
- Current Liberty assistant coach Todd Garvey was facing his former team. Garvey was the head coach at Jacksonville State from 2018-22, leading the Gamecocks to a 103-39 record.
