RUSTON, La. - Liberty won the final three sets on Friday at Thomas Assembly Center, rallying for a conference-opening 3-1 (21-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-20) victory over Louisiana Tech.
The Lady Flames improve to 7-6, including 1-0 in Conference USA matches. Meanwhile, LA Tech falls to 6-8, 0-1 in conference contests.

- The Lady Flames outhit the Bulldogs, .184-.121. Liberty also led in kills (50-42) and assists (43-41). Louisiana Tech held a 10.5-9 edge in blocks, while both teams served up seven aces.
- Kate Gammer scored a match-high 14 kills to go along with seven digs and four blocks, while Paige Overcash sent down 10 kills. Erica Lowery collected 20 digs, while Madison Blane recorded seven kills and five blocks. Charli Morris dished up 26 assists, while Charli Crowson distributed 14 assists.
