LYNCHBURG, Va. - West Virginia closed out the Liberty Tournament with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-14) sweep of the host Liberty Lady Flames, Sunday at Liberty Arena
The Mountaineers (4-5) went 1-2 at this weekend's tournament. Liberty (4-5) also registered a 1-2 mark, sweeping ETSU before falling to both Virginia and West Virginia.
Virginia won this weekend's tournament, going 3-0 with wins over Liberty, ETSU and West Virginia.

- West Virginia outhit Liberty .310-.138 for the match. The Mountaineers also led in kills (43-27), assists (39-26), aces, 12-2) and digs (47-42). Both teams registered six blocks.
- Cassidy Tanton recorded 12 kills, three aces and 12 digs for the Mountaineers, while Quincey Coyle hit .455 with 12 kills. Hailey Green totaled 10 kills and four blocks.
