Liberty Edged by No. 22 Coastal Carolina 8-7

CONWAY, S.C. – Despite Liberty hitting four home runs in the contest, the No. 22 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers overcame a two-run deficit with three runs with two out in the bottom of the ninth to defeat the Flames 8-7, Saturday at Springs Brooks Stadium.

Liberty third baseman Cam Foster hit his first two home runs of the season and had three RBI, while Aidan Sweatt and Brian McClellin each hit their first home run of the year in the contest. Sweatt joined Foster with two hits in the game, ripping an RBI double and scoring a run in the Flames' four-run third inning in addition to his home run.

Liberty drops to 5-4 on the season. Coastal Carolina moves to 7-2.
