Dell Anna Earns 3rd Career BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Recognition

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty field hockey's Tuti Dell Anna earned her third career BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll recognition after a three-goal weekend.
This is Dell Anna's BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll award of the season. The senior forward from Córdoba, Argentina earned the same honor in back-to-back weeks last year (Sept. 19 and 26, 2023).
Dell Anna led Liberty in goals (3) and points (6) this past weekend in home contests against Temple and Appalachian State. In the Lady Flames' 5-0 shutout win over App State on Sunday, she led the way with two goals. Dell Anna scored Liberty's second goal of the day in the 28th minute on a penalty corner to put the hosts ahead 2-0. Dell Anna's second goal of the match, her seventh of the season, came at the 41:40 mark, a reverse through the goalkeeper's legs.
In Friday's game versus the Temple Owls, Dell Anna tallied the only goal of the game for the Lady Flames in the 21st minute. Through 11 games this season, Dell Anna paces Liberty in goals (7) and points (15). She ranks 34th nationally in goals per game (0.64) and 51st in the country in points per game (1.36).
Liberty has received seven BIG EAST awards through the first six weeks of the year.
Dell Anna and No. 19 Liberty (6-5, 1-2 BIG EAST) will travel to Villanova (7-5, 2-1 BIG EAST) for a BIG EAST road game on Friday afternoon. Match time is 1 p.m. from the Villanova Field Hockey Field in Conshohocken, Pa. The game will be streamed live on FloSports.
