
Liberty Welcomes Kennesaw State to Conclude Regular Season

LYNCHBURG, Va. – With a potential No. 1 seed in the Conference USA Championship on the line, the Liberty women's soccer team will host Kennesaw State in its final regular season contest on Friday night. The Lady Flames (13-1-4, 5-1-2 CUSA) are scheduled to take on Kennesaw State (3-9-4, 2-3-3 CUSA) at Osborne Stadium at 6 p.m. The contest will be streamed on ESPN+.
Liberty currently sits at No. 2 in the CUSA standings with 17 points, looking up at FIU with 19 points and trailed by New Mexico State with 16 points. The Lady Flames would clinch a first-round bye with a win or a New Mexico State loss on Thursday night.
The Lady Flames meet their former Atlantic Sun rivals for the first time as members of Conference USA. Liberty owns a 4-3 all-time record against the Owls, including a 1-0 victory in the 2021 ASUN Championship game.
