
Liberty Set to Host CUSA Foes UTEP and New Mexico State

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Coming off its first loss of the season, the Liberty women's soccer team looks to get back on the winning track hosting a pair of Conference USA matchups against UTEP on Thursday and facing New Mexico State on Sunday.
The Lady Flames (9-1-2, 1-1 CUSA) prepare to take on the Miners (3-5-3, 0-2-1 CUSA) at 6 p.m. and the Aggies (7-4-1, 2-1 CUSA) on Sunday at 1 p.m. from Osborne Stadium. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Liberty suffered its first loss of the season in its home CUSA opener, falling 3-0 to FIU on Thursday. In 2023, New Mexico State handed Liberty its first loss of the year, 2-0 on Sept. 30, after 11 consecutive victories. The Lady Flames returned the favor, topping the Aggies 2-1 to claim the CUSA Championship title on Nov. 5.
