- The Lady Flames, one of four teams to start CUSA play at 2-0, posted a pair of wins at Louisiana Tech last weekend. Liberty outhit LA Tech, .221-.067. Meanwhile, the Gamecocks fell twice at defending CUSA champion Western Kentucky.
- Kate Gammer averaged 4.14 kills per set in two matches at Louisiana Tech, leading all players in kills on both Friday (15) and Saturday (14). She needs 44 more kills to reach 1,000 for her career.
- Erica Lowery collected 5.14 digs per set, adding 0.57 aces per set, at Louisiana Tech. She posted back-to-back 20-dig matches, Sept. 21 and Sept. 27.

- Liberty has posted two 15-ace matches so far this season. That is the most 15-ace matches by the Lady Flames since 2002, when Liberty also served up 15 or more aces twice.
