The Lady Flames will be making their second appearance at the NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic, as Liberty earned a win over nationally-ranked Ole Miss during the invitational in 2020.

The Lady Flames finished the 2023 season with a 40-22 record. The team earned the first at-large berth in program history, flying to California for the NCAA Los Angeles Regional. Liberty made the most of its time out west, eliminating No. 2 UCLA and Grand Canyon to make a Regional final for the third time in program history. The Lady Flames set program single-season records for wins over Top 25 teams (four) and games against Top 25 opponents (16) last season. Â Â Â
