LYNCHBURG, Va. -Â Liberty (14-15) takes a seven-game winning streak on the road, taking on No. 12 Virginia (27-3) on Wednesday at Palmer Park in a game nationally televised on ACC Network.

- The Lady Flames swept UTEP last week in El Paso, outhitting the Miners .378-.174 and outscoring them 28-5. Liberty hit nine home runs during the series, coming from nine different batters.
- Virginia won two games at Syracuse last weekend before having game three cancelled. The Cavaliers are ranked as high as No. 12 in this week's national polls.
- Liberty and Virginia have gone 1-1 against each other each of the last three seasons. Last year, Liberty earned a 4-3, walk-off win over the Cavaliers on April 8 in Lynchburg, while UVA defeated the Lady Flames 5-3 in Charlottesville, April 30.
