
No. 10 Lady Flames Score Twice in Last Two Minutes For 2-0 Win at Tribe

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The No. 10 Liberty Lady Flames scored twice in the last two minutes for a 2-0 road shutout win at William & Mary, Sunday at Busch Field.
Jodie Conolly put Liberty ahead 1-0 with a goal at the 58:05 mark, and in the closing minute of the game, it was Tuti Dell Anna who added an insurance goal to seal the victory.
Liberty improves to 7-1 following the non-conference win. This is the second 2-0 shutout of the weekend after the Lady Flames topped Old Dominion by the same score, Friday in their BIG EAST opener.
William & Mary falls to 2-3 on the season and 0-3 at home. Liberty is 2-1 in road games in 2023.

Liberty's fourth and final penalty corner of the day proved vital, as the Lady Flames went ahead 1-0 at the 58:05 mark. Jodie Conolly buried a shot into the cage, assisted by Bethany Dykema and Reagan Underwood, for the game's first goal.
Just over a minute later, it was Tuti Dell Anna who found the back of the cage for the visitors for a 2-0 advantage. Dell Anna collected a pass from Ellie Livingston, entered the circle moving to her right, and fired a shot into the left half of the goal with 32 seconds remaining in the contest (59:28 mark).
