
Liberty Cruises Past Jacksonville State 13-3 in 7 innings Saturday

The Liberty Flames scored in every inning, rolling to a 13-3 victory over the Jacksonville State Gamecocks in seven innings, Saturday afternoon at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.
Left-hander Trey Cooper held the Gamecocks scoreless through five innings as Liberty built a 10-0 lead through five innings.
Getting his first collegiate start, designated hitter Todd Hudson had two hits, including his first collegiate home run and drove in three runs for the Flames in the game.
Liberty first baseman Brayden Horton also had two hits and scored a career-high four runs, while catcher Three Hillier belted his fourth home run of the season in the contest.
Liberty evens the series at 1-1 and moves to 11-12 in the ASUN. The Flames are 21-25 overall. Jacksonville State drops to 15-8 in the conference and 22-24 overall.
