
No. 12 East Carolina Defeats Liberty in Game 2

The No. 12 East Carolina Pirates topped the Liberty Flames 13-1, Saturday evening in the second game of a doubleheader at Clark-LeClair Stadium.
With the win, the Pirates sweep the doubleheader and the three-game series.
Like in game one, East Carolina staked itself to a lead with runs in the first inning and never looked back in the victory.
Liberty shortstop Jake Lazzaro had two of the Flames’ three hits in the contest.
Liberty drops to 7-8 on the season. East Carolina wins its sixth straight game and sweeps the three-game series. The Pirates improve to 12-3.
