Liberty (15-11, 8-6 CUSA) finishes out the regular season with a key CUSA series at UTEP (18-8), Friday and Saturday in El Paso, Texas.
- The Lady Flames enter the weekend tied for fifth place in CUSA standings with FIU, while UTEP is tied with New Mexico State for third. NMSU plays at FIU this weekend, so conference seeding remains very much up for grabs.
- After starting off CUSA play at 1-5, the Lady Flames are 7-1 in their last eight matches. Liberty is 4-2 in CUSA away matches, while UTEP is 6-0 in conference home contests and 8-0 overall at home this season.
- The Lady Flames claimed two sweeps against Louisiana Tech last weekend, ouhitting the Bulldogs a combined .318-.113. Liberty beat Louisiana Tech 25-6 in set one on Thursday, but the first set on Friday resulted in a 25-23 victory.
- Madison Blane averaged 4.75 kills at a .667 pace against Louisiana Tech, including a career-high 16 kills (.625) on Friday. She leads CUSA in both blocks per set (1.34) and hitting percentage (.423).
- Kamryn Bacus is ranked second in CUSA in both kills per set (3.63) and points per set (4.41). She scored 20 or more kills in both matches at Sam Houston two weeks ago, and scored her 1,000th career kill on Oct. 20 against FIU.
- Delaney Dilfer is ranked second with 10.90 assists per set in CUSA matches. She registered back-to-back 50-assist matches at Sam Houston, tying her season high with 55 on Oct. 28. She needs 40 more assists to become the 10th active NCAA Division I player with 4,000 career assists.
- Kate Phillips is fourth in CUSA in conference-only kills per set (3.50) and is tied with Madison Blane for the team lead for most 10-kill matches in CUSA play (10).
