The Lady Flames are 7-2 at home this season, outhitting opponents .250-.150 inside Liberty Arena.
On Friday night, Liberty will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 1997 team, which claimed the program's first of seven Big South Championships. A total of 11 members of the 1997 Lady Flames will be present for an on-court ceremony between sets two and three of Friday's match against Jacksonville.
Last Friday at Bellarmine, Lydia Burts (career-high 19 kills, .621) and Madison Blane (career-high 13 kills, .611) became the first Liberty teammates in the rally-scoring era (since 2001) to hit .600 or better in the same match. Kate Phillips hit .500 with 14 kills, as the Lady Flames hit a season-best .388 that night.
In each of the last three matches, Madison Blane, Lydia Burts, Kate Phillips and Trinity Watts have all reached double figures in kills.
Liberty leads the ASUN in blocks per set, both overall (2.46) and in conference play (2.67). The Lady Flames have posted 10 or more blocks in each of the last four matches and eight times this year.
Delaney Dilfer leads the ASUN with 10.66 assists per set. She set a career high with 54 assists at Eastern Kentucky, her second straight 50-assist match. She recorded her team-leading ninth double-double of the season, last Friday at Bellarmine.
Lydia Burts paces the ASUN with 1.24 blocks per set overall, while Trinity Watts' 1.46 blocks per set in conference matches is first in the ASUN.
