Thoughts from Head Coach Lang Wedemeyer
"Our inexperience showed a little bit tonight and not being able to start the game right. Gifting them a goal in the first couple minutes and any type of script you would write up that is not how you would start. I give them credit because we talk about the critical points of the game; the first five minutes of the half and the last five minutes of the half and they were better in those moments. I thought we played with them for a good portion of the game. We hit the post two, maybe three times and should have had a handball inside the box in the second half and Chloe Marr had two great chances, so we were right there."
