TCU pitchers Johnny Ray and Haylen Green combined to hold Liberty to one run, propelling the No. 10-ranked Horn Frogs to a 4-1 victory over Flames, Friday night at Lupton Stadium.
The Horn Frogs duo scattered six hits and struck out 12 Liberty batters in the contest. Designated hitter Hunter Wolfe and catcher Zach Humphreys each hit a two-run home runs for TCU.
Liberty catcher Gray Betts had two hits and hit his first career home run in the contest.
The Flames drop to 2-3 on the season. The Horn Frogs move to 3-2.
