Liberty's Kieran Vincent has been named the first ASUN Men's Golfer of the Week for the 2019-20 season following a runner-up finish at the 2019 Island Resort Intercollegiate.
The redshirt junior posted a 6-under par 210 (71-68-71) at the Sage Run Golf Course (par 72, 7,375 yards) in Bark Hill, Mich., Sunday and Monday.
Vincent's 6-under par total helped the Flames capture the team title at the tournament, the program's 30th team title at the NCAA Division I level and first since last fall.
The native of Harare, Zimbabwe, finished three shots off the overall lead to post his fifth career top-five tournament finish.
Vincent led the field in par-5 scoring (9-under par/4.25 scoring average) and ranked 10th in the field with 12 birdies. As a team, Liberty led the 10-team field in par-5 scoring (27-under par/4.52 scoring average) and ranked second in total birdies (56).
The ASUN weekly award is the first of Vincent's career. Last year, he was named to the ASUN Men's Golf second-team all-conference squad.
