
Joy Named to CSC Academic All-District® Team

Academic honors continue to roll in for Liberty's Ike Joy, who has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team.
Joy finds himself on the CSC Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team for the first time in his collegiate career, which includes many other academic awards.
Joy is a two-time member of the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll (2023-24 and 2024-25) and is a two-time recipient of the CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal (2023-24 and 2024-25). He has been named to the CUSA Men's Golf All-Academic team twice (2025 and 2026).
This is Joy's second national academic honor as he is also a two-time selection on the Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar team (2024 and 2025).
During his final season with the Flames, Joy ranked fourth on the team with a 72.20 season stroke average. He played 16-of-35 rounds at par or better (45.7 percent) and posted four sub-70 rounds.
The graduate student was one of the most consistent players on the course for Liberty, leading the team with 408 pars for the season.
Joy helped the Flames capture the 2026 Conference USA Men's Golf Championship. He sank the trophy-clinching putt in the championship match play event against UTEP, giving Liberty its second CUSA title in the last three years.
Joy went on to participate in the NCAA Corvallis Regional where Liberty finished the event tied for fifth place. This was Joy's third NCAA Regional trip after taking part in the NCAA Stanford Regional along with the team and as an individual at the NCAA Amherst Regional.
