The Liberty volleyball team clinched a share of its conference-record fifth straight Big South regular-season championship with a 3-2 win at UNC Asheville on Saturday.

The Lady Flames will serve as the No. 1 seed in the 2011 Big South Volleyball Championship presented by Musco Sports Lighting. The conference tournament, hosted by Charleston Southern University, gets under way Thursday at Noon, as top-ranked Liberty takes on No. 8 seed Gardner-Webb.

LibertyFlames.com's Nick Pierce caught up with head volleyball coach Shane Pinder for an interview. The interview covered the Lady Flames' final regular-season weekend, and provided a look toward this week's Big South Volleyball Championship.
