The two-time defending Big South champion Liberty volleyball team opened conference play with home victories over Winthrop and Coastal Carolina over the weekend. The Lady Flames, tied for first place with UNC Asheville in the early-season Big South standings, will travel to Presbyterian Friday at 7 p.m., for their first road conference match.
Recently, head coach Shane Pinder sat down with Nick Pierce to recap the team's successful weekend and look ahead to Friday's road trip.
