The Liberty volleyball team has opened the 2009 season with a 4-5 record and is preparing for its fourth and final early-season tournament, the Black & Gold Challenge. This weekend's tournament will pit the Lady Flames against Appalachian State, as well as a pair of ACC opponents, Duke and Wake Forest.
Recently, head coach Shane Pinder sat down with Nick Pierce to provide an update on the team's progress and preview this weekend's tournament at Wake Forest.
