Coach's Corner with Shane Pinder (Audio Interview)
The Liberty volleyball team enters the final week of the regular season, coming off a Saturday of milestones. Chelaine McCarty recorded career kill No. 1,000 and Shane Pinder won career match No. 100, as the Lady Flames swept Gardner-Webb, 3-0, to improve to 11-3 in conference play.
The second-place Lady Flames will close out their schedule with a pair of matches this week. Liberty hosts High Point Tuesday at 7 p.m., and the senior trio of McCarty, Kallie Corbin and Brittany Pacella will be honored prior to the match. The Lady Flames will then travel to Charleston Southern Saturday at 6 p.m. for the regular-season finale.
