Today, LibertyFlames.com continues its weekly question-and-answer series with the Lady Flames volleyball team, designed to give fans a unique look at the two-time defending Big South champions. Sophomore libero Kelly Haseman is this week's featured Lady Flame.
Kelly Haseman, a sophomore from Three Rivers, Mich., has been a stalwart on Liberty's back row during the first two seasons of her career. This year, she has compiled a team-high 230 digs and ranks third in the Big South Conference in the category. Haseman has tallied 20 or more digs on four occasions, thus far in the 2009 season.
Last year, Haseman was a Big South All-Freshman team honoree after ranking No. 2 among conference rookies with her 307 digs. She notched double-digit digs 15 times, including eight of her last nine appearances. The physical therapy major also made the Big South Presidential Honor Roll for her work in the classroom.
