LibertyFlames.com recently sat down with Liberty Head Volleyball Coach Shane Pinder to get his thoughts on the upcoming season, which begins next Friday versus N.C. State.
Pinder, the 2007 Big South and VaSID Coach of the Year, discusses the team's performance during the preseason and some of the Lady Flames' top newcomers. He also talks about the team's non-conference schedule, including Liberty's trio of opponents at next weekend's VCU Third Degree Sportswear Invitational—N.C. State, Central Michigan and Maryland.
