Today, LibertyFlames.com continues its weekly volleyball feature, "Side Out with …" Next up is redshirt junior right-side hitter Carmen Streeper.
Streeper, a local product from Rustburg, Va., has provided some key contributions from her right-side hitter position for the 2008 Lady Flames, especially in recent weeks. She posted two kills, three assists, an ace and four digs to Liberty's 3-0 sweep of Charleston Southern on Oct. 25, just five days after her 22nd birthday. Streeper then notched four assists and back-to-back block assists last Saturday, helping the Lady Flames post a 3-2, come-from-behind conference win at Gardner-Webb.
Streeper had the unique opportunity to play volleyball alongside her twin sister, Monica, at Rustburg High School. Both sisters were All-Seminole District honorees for the Red Devils.
