In its continuing coverage of Liberty athletics, LibertyFlames.com brings you a new installment of One-On-One. This segment's guest is head volleyball coach Shane Pinder.
Fans can hear Pinder speak on the magnitude of Saturday's victory over Winthrop, breaking the Eagles' 63-match Big South win streak. Pinder speaks about the tremendous play of Kallie Corbin and Nicki Scripko, as the duo swept the Big South Player and Freshman of the Week honors for the second-straight week, while the honor was the fourth in a row for Scripko. Pinder also talks about how the Flames need to finish strong, going into the Big South Championship on Nov. 15-17.
Next week, One-On-One will sit down with head men's basketball coach, Ritchie McKay, to discuss his squad on the eve of the 2007-08 season.
