Ashley Becraft enters her third season with the men’s basketball and serves the staff as the program’s administrative assistant.
In her role, Becraft oversees the work flow for the men’s basketball office and manages head coach Ritchie McKay’s daily schedule. Becraft also is in charge of department’s work study program.
Becraft also served as the administrator for the Flames Reading Club for two years, a community service program which allowed Liberty University student-athletes and the general student population to serve as reading mentors to elementary students in the Lynchburg city schools. She was the liaison between the Lynchburg city schools and the student-athletes which participated in the program, while also organizing the club’s schedule and annual kick-off event.
Becraft attended the College of Southern Maryland in 2003, lettering in women’s basketball and softball. She is currently enrolled at Liberty, finishing a psychology degree and plans to continue her education upon graduation and earn a master’s in counseling.
