Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
The moment I set foot on Liberty’s campus, I knew it was exactly where I was meant to be. Being part of such an outstanding school and a top-tier swimming and diving program has been an incredible experience. Even more meaningful has been the opportunity to grow in my relationship with Jesus. Liberty has truly been one of the greatest blessings in my life.
Is there anything special you do premeet or postmeet and why?
I always listen to my music to get hyped. Also, during part of a warmup as a team, we always line dance. Post swim meet I have always gone to get my favorite treat which is a blizzard from Dairy Queen. This tradition started in middle school.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My aunt is my inspiration. She has always been there for me, and I’ve always looked up to her since I was younger. She has always been such a joy and a follower of Christ, and she sets a great example in our family. Also, my sisters Meghan and Allie. They have always supported me and helped me throughout the years and I just look up to them.
