Kristen Masullo joined the Lady Flames coaching staff in the spring of 2015 as a volunteer assistant coach. Prior to joining the coaching staff, Masullo competed for four years in goal for the Liberty lacrosse team.
Masullo started all four seasons for the Lady Flames, while earning a degree in exercise science in the summer of 2014. She received a variety of accolades during her playing career, beginning with National Lacrosse Conference (NLC) first team all-conference honors her freshman year. She also garnered Big South second team all-conference as a junior.
The Berkeley Heights, N.J. native is Liberty’s all-time leader in saves with 675 over her four-year career. Masullo also has played the most games in the Lady Flames program with 71, starting 69 contests. She finished her career second all-time in save percentage (.437) and goals-against average (13.95).
Masullo was a standout goalie in high school, earning Rookie of the Year, defensive MVP and first team all-conference thanks to her 284 saves in a single season. During her senior season at Governor Livingston, Masullo recorded 358 saves and received a place on the first team all-county and all-conference teams.
