
Three Lacrosse Athletes Included on CSC Academic All-District® Team

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Three student-athletes from the 2026 Liberty Lacrosse team, Katie Colavito, Madeleine Klunder and Kate Troutman, received a selection to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District® team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Colavito earns her third consecutive selection to the At-Large All-District team and has been included on each iteration of the At-Large All-District team. She is the only Liberty student-athlete to receive three separate inclusions to the team.
Recently graduated, Colavito collected a 3.91 cumulative GPA in her four years at Liberty. She earned a bachelor's degree in public health: health promotion this May. The senior is also a two-time member of the Atlantic Sun All-Academic team (2025, 26) and has received the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal in every season since Liberty primarily joined the CUSA. On the field, Colavito was named to the ASUN All-Conference first team this season.
Troutman, a fifth-year senior in 2026, earned a 4.0 GPA in her M.B.A. along with a 4.0 cumulative GPA for her bachelor's degree in strategic communication. Troutman was included on the 2026 ASUN All-Academic team and is also a three-time recipient of the CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal.
Klunder, also a fifth-year senior, collected a 3.92 cumulative GPA in her master's in public health: nutrition after graduating with a 3.65 in her bachelor's in public health: health promotion. She was also added to the ASUN All-Academic team. Klunder starred on the field this season, receiving a selection to the ASUN All-Conference first team and was named to the ASUN All-Tournament team.
All three student-athletes are now eligible for consideration for the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-America® Women's At-Large Team, with voting beginning today for the teams. The first, second, and third team Academic All-America honorees for the at-large division will be released on July 7.
