2009 (Fr.): Named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll … appeared in 24 games for the Lady Flames, with five games started … appeared mostly as a pinch runner, but also saw time as the designated hitter and in the outfield … finished the season with one hit, four runs scored and four walks in 10 at-bats … ranked fifth on the team with five steal attempts … successfully stole three bases on the year … recorded her first collegiate hit against Virginia … scored runs against California, Delaware State, Purdue and Norfolk State.
Prep: Graduated from Cabell Midland High School … voted conference player of the year and first-team all-state her senior year … named first-team all-conference and received an all-state honorable mention her junior year … first-team all-conference honoree and all-state honorable mention as a sophomore … four year letterwinner … ended junior year with a .456 batting average with five home runs and 30 RBIs … as a senior, batted .515 with 12 home runs and 41 RBIs … also played ASA travel ball for the Diamond Dusters, helping the team to a title victory at the Carolina Cardinal Classic in Raleigh, N.C. in 2007 … graduated with high honors … was a member of Mu Alpha Theta.
