2010 (Jr.): Started in 53 games for the Lady Flames, mostly as catcher … named to the Campus Suites Spartan Classic All-Tournament team … led the Big South and ranked No. 43 in the country, averaging .67 walks per game … led the team with a .436 on-base percentage … tied for third on the squad with 29 runs scored … was second on the team with 284 putouts for the season … also ranked fourth on the team with nine doubles on the year … had nine multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI games … boasted a .491 on-base percentage against Big South opponents, the best on the team … recorded her first career grand slam against No. 10 Alabama on March 6 … batted 3-for-4 with three runs scored against North Carolina A&T on March 20 … hit 2-for-3 and drove in two runs in win over James Madison on April 14 … caught 10 runners stealing … named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll.
2009 (So.): Appeared in 46 games for the Lady Flames, primarily as a designated hitter and pinch hitter … also saw playing time at catcher and shortstop … recorded her first hit as a Lady Flame, a double, against Cal State Northridge … ended the season with 21 hits, six RBIs, three doubles and six runs scored … was 1-for-1 and drove in a run against Florida Atlantic … batted 2-for-3 against Big South opponent Winthrop … was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs against Virginia … batted 2-for-3 with a home run in regular-season victory over Charleston Southern.
Previous School: Played one season at Cecil College in North East, Md., as a catcher and outfielder … hit two home runs and ended the year with a .413 batting average … named first-team all-region … also a second-team all-state honoree.
Prep: Graduated from Red Lion Christian Academy … was a four-year letterwinner … team captain for four years … named first team all-conference and second-team all-state as a senior … final season hit four home runs and maintained a .350 batting average … named team MVP her junior year, as well as second-team all-state and first-team all-conference … ended junior campaign with 10 home runs and a .425 batting average … also won MVP honors as a freshman.
