2005-06 (Fr.): Appeared in five tournaments … averaged a team-best 73.3 over 10 rounds … had two top five finishes, as well as three top 10s and four top 20s … won two one-round tournaments while shooting one-under par in the Shenandoah University Invitational and the Lynchburg Invitational … shot a season-low 68 twice, once at the Frank Landrey Invitational on his way to finishing sixth out of 50 players … also shot a 68 in his final tournament of the season at Old Dominion's Seascape, tying for 12th out of 78 players at one-over par.
Prep: A graduate of Mount Carmel High School in San Diego, Calif., where he was a four-year letterwinner in golf.
Personal: Son of Jay Davis and Marge Gilligan … birthday is Feb. 17 … majoring in sport management ... high school teammates with current Liberty golfer David Watters.
