Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
Liberty represents a unique opportunity to grow both academically and athletically, while also embracing a strong sense of community and values. The support system, campus environment, and level of competition made it the perfect fit for me.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
Before each game, I take a moment to visualize how I want to perform. Staying calm and focused helps me feel centered and ready. After the game, I usually reflect quietly, no matter the outcome. It helps me stay grounded and motivated to improve.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is my mom. Her strength, work ethic, and constant support have shaped who I am. She’s always led by example and taught me to persevere with humility and heart.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
My most memorable moment was when I made the final roster for my first international competition. It was a culmination of hard work, sacrifice, and passion.
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I wear number 29. It's a number that holds special meaning for me and it reminds me to stay grounded and grateful every time I step on the field.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
It’s hard to choose. In Argentina, nothing beats a good dinner with homemade milanesas. But I also really enjoy breakfast, especially when I get to share some mates and pancakes.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
Whatsapp, I use it to keep in touch with my family and friends in Argentina.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
Pottery, I love working with my hands and creating something from scratch, it’s really relaxing and rewarding.
Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?
An orange cat, his name is Batata. He’s full of personality and always makes me laugh.
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
Luciana Aymar. Her skill, vision, and leadership on the field were unmatched. She’s a legend in Argentina hockey and a true role model.
What is your favorite possession and why?
A family photo I keep by my bed. It reminds me of home, where I come from, and the people who support me unconditionally, no matter how far I am.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
I don’t really have a go-to song, but I’ll join in for anything fun if there’s a group singing!
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
One of my dream destinations is Italy. I’ve never been, but I find it so charming with its beautiful landscapes, from mountains to beaches, and the mix of culture, food, and history. There’s so much to explore in one place.
