What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
Liberty University provides a Christian worldview that allows me to compete and learn in an environment that stimulates my spiritual growth.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I try to find a large bowl of pasta for post-game because whether you win or lose, pasta makes you feel good.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
I am inspired by historical figures. Understanding past struggles and respecting how people overcame them has helped me to overcome struggles in my life.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
I pitched the winning game in the Scenic City Top 25 tournament.
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
The number 9 is important to me because it's a perfect pitcher's inning. 3 strikes and 3 outs.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
My favorite meal is dinner and specifically, tacos. Tacos are versatile and delicious no matter how they're served.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
The Clock app.

Quilting
Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?

Valerie Cagle
What is your favorite possession and why?
My favorite possession is my great grandma Barbara's quilt that she originally gave my mother.
What is your Go-To karaoke song?
