2011: Taken in the 2011 MLB Draft in the 17th round by the Boston Red Sox … appeared in nine games, with four starts … posted a 1-2 record with a 8.31 ERA over 21 2/3 innings … struck out 22 and walked 15 … pitched two innings of scoreless relief at Maryland (3/16) … picked up first Liberty win, allowing no runs on two hits, striking out six over four innings in a 5-2 win over New Orleans in the Liberty Tournament (5/1) … gave up one run on three hits, striking out two batters during two innings of relief in a 13-5 victory over Gardner-Webb at the Big South Championship (5/25).
2010: Sat out year after transferring … named to Big South Presidential Honor Roll.
