Zayac allowed two runs on six hits over the first seven innings to run his record to 8-0 on the season, before giving way to Tyler August, who retired all three batters he faced in the eighth.
Right-hander Cooper Harrington pitched a scoreless ninth to record his 10th save of the season to close out the win.
Liberty second baseman Ethan Swofford had two hits and drove in two runs in the victory.
The Flames snap a three-game skid. Liberty remains in possession of second place in the CUSA standings, moving to 19-8 in conference and 36-16 overall. The Bulldogs drop to 17-10 in conference and 17-10 overall.
