First baseman Jaxon Sorenson hit his first home run of the season and right fielder Riley DeCandido reached base four times, scoring four runs for the Flames.
The Liberty bullpen held FIU without a hit over four innings from the one out in the fifth to one out in the ninth.
Liberty moves its CUSA record to 5-3 and its overall record to 17-9 on the season. FIU falls to 1-7 in CUSA and 8-19 overall.
