The Flames trailed 2-0 after the sixth inning, only to see the Demon Deacons erupt for nine runs to win the contest due to run rule.
Wake Forest right-hander Cameron Bagwell held Liberty to one hit over seven innings, allowing a single to designated hitter Jordan Jaffe in the first inning.
Liberty drops to 13-6 on the season. Wake Forest moves to 16-5. The Demon Deacons snapped a four-game losing streak.
