Turning Point
- Missouri broke the game wide open with an eight-run sixth inning. The Lady Flames broke up a no-hit and shutout bid in the bottom of the sixth, getting two runs on a single by Savannah Jessee. However, the Tigers retired the next batter to secure the 13-2, six-inning win.
- Missouri outhit Liberty 11-2 for the game, with eight out of the Tigers' 11 hits going for extra bases.
- Abby Carr (1-0) earned the win, allowing two runs on two hits, walking three and fanning five.
- Liberty's Kaylan Yoder (0-2) drew the loss, allowing two runs on four hits in 2 1/3 innings before giving way to four relief pitchers.
- Sidney Forrester went 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI, while Abby Hay batted 2-for-3 with a homer, two RBI and one run scored. Kayley Lenger went 1-for-1 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored.

Turning Point
- In a 0-0 tie with two outs in the top of the fifth, Savanah Whatley made a great backup at third, throwing out a runner at home to maintain the tie. The Lady Flames manufactured a run in the bottom of the fifth. JaMaya Byrum reached on an error, stole second and then went to third on a sacrifice bunt by Ella Fox. Paige Doerr grounded to short, with Byrum scoring the go-ahead run.
- The Ducks responded with a six-run sixth, capped by a grand slam by Stefini Ma'Ake.
- Oregon led 13-3 in hits, with the Ducks committing one error compared to one for the Lady Flames. Liberty left eight runners on base, compared to six stranded by Oregon.
- Taylour Spencer (1-0) earned the win, allowing one unearned run on three hits in five innings pitched before Maddie Milhorn pitched the final two innings.
- Gabby Mike (0-1) drew the loss, allowing six runs on eight hits, walking four and fanning one before giving way to relievers Katie Live and Camden Anders.
- Five different Ducks recorded two hits each, while Ma'Ake hit a grand slam with four RBI.
