Liberty Athletics has announced a new partnership with Abich Financial Services where the firm's logo will be displayed at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium during the 2026 season.
    Â
The Abich Financial logo will be positioned along the first base and third base lines in foul territory, creating a highly visible in-game presence throughout Liberty's home schedule.
    Â
The partnership, brokered by Van Wagner, carries special meaning, as Abich Financial founder Abe Abich is a former Liberty Baseball student-athlete, making this collaboration a full-circle moment for both the alumnus and the program.
    Â
Abich made 10 appearances on the mound for the Flames during the 1998 season. The right-handed pitcher helped Liberty post a 32-29 record, capture the 1998 Big South champion and make an appearance in an NCAA Regional in Tallahassee, Fla.
    Â
"As a former player, Liberty Baseball helped shape who I am today," said Abich. "To now support the program and see our logo on the field where so many memories were made is incredibly special. We are proud to invest in the next generation of Flames."
    Â
Abich Financial Services, voted best in Loudoun County for seven-straight years according to Loudoun Times Mirror. The first has proudly guided over 1,200 families in the DC Metro area toward a secure retirement since 2018.
    Â
As a Phase 2 fiduciary retirement planning firm, their focus is on helping people, primarily 55 and older, transition successfully from their working careers into retirement. From life goals to tax strategies, they combine all the pieces into a comprehensive, written retirement plan.
    Â
Abich Financial received a "Best of Loudoun" rating on May 2, 2025, with a voting period from February 21, 2025 to April 29, 2025. Votes were cast on the Loudoun Times-Mirror ("LTM") website and were tabulated solely by LTM.
    Â
Abich Financial Services pays for advertisements in the LTM; however, they did not provide compensation, directly or indirectly, to LTM in connection with obtaining or using this third-party rating.
    Â
Liberty Baseball continues to build on its tradition of competitive excellence and strong community support each spring at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.
    Â
Liberty Baseball is a perennial 30-win program, who has won five conference championships and made eight NCAA Regional appearances.
    Â
The Flames have had nearly 80 players selected in the Major League Baseball draft in the 50-plus year history of the program. Liberty baseball has produced a major league draft pick each year since 2000, outside of the shortened MLB Draft in 2020.
    Â
The addition of the Abich Financial field logo not only enhances the game-day atmosphere but also celebrates the enduring connection between Liberty Athletics and its alumni.
    Â
The Abich Financial logo will be first on the field when the Flames host No. 25 West Virginia for a three-game series this weekend.
