
Liberty MBB Releases 2025-26 Non-Conference Schedule

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty men's basketball has released its 11-game non-conference schedule to round out its full 2025-26 season schedule.
The Flames' non-conference slate features road games at NC State (Dec. 10) and Dayton (Dec. 20) in the month of December. Liberty will also host this year's Field of 68 Media Network Tip-Off event, Nov. 7-9 at Liberty Arena. The Flames will face Charleston on Nov. 7, followed by a contest against Florida Atlantic on Nov. 9.
Liberty will also play in a multi-team event at the 2025 ESPN Events Invitational, Nov. 24-26 at Walt Disney World Resort's State Farm Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Kissimmee, Fla. The Flames will take on Vermont in their first matchup, Nov. 24. The strong field includes: Liberty, UC San Diego, Bradley, Vermont, Princeton, Towson, Temple and Rhode Island.
The Flames' season opener will be against Kentucky Christian on Nov. 3 at Liberty Arena. Liberty will also host Coppin State (Dec. 6), Carolina University (Nov. 17) and Midway (Dec. 16).
The Flames enter the 2025-26 season as the defending Conference USA regular season and tournament champions. The Flames have claimed 10 total titles over the last seven seasons – one CUSA Championship title, one CUSA regular-season crown, three ASUN Championship crowns, four ASUN regular-season titles and an ASUN division title. Liberty has posted a 177-58 combined record over the past seven years. The Flames' 177 victories are the sixth most in the country during that span.
Liberty enters its third season in Conference USA this upcoming year. Liberty announced its CUSA schedule on July 11. The Flames will play 20 CUSA contests and 11 non-conference games, followed by the 2026 CUSA Men's Basketball Championship, to round out their 2025-26 slate.
