
Liberty MBB Begins 1st Week of Official Practices For 2025-26 Season

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty men's basketball team has begun its first week of official practices in preparation for the 2025-26 season.
On Tuesday afternoon, Liberty Men's Basketball Head Coach Ritchie McKay, redshirt senior guard Kaden Metheny and senior forward Zach Cleveland met with members of the media in the Liberty Arena Media Room to discussion the upcoming season.
Liberty enters the 2025-26 season as the defending Conference USA regular season and tournament champions. The Flames' season begins on Nov. 3 against Kentucky Christian at home, followed by two more home games against Charleston (Nov. 7) and Florida Atlantic (Nov. 9) in the Field of 68 Media Network Tip-Off event. Two of Liberty's marquee non-conference road games will be against NC State (Dec. 10) and Dayton (Dec. 20) in the month of December.
The Flames enter their third season in Conference USA this upcoming year. Liberty unveiled its third CUSA schedule in mid-July. The program unveiled its full non-conference schedule on Sept. 5.
2025-26 Men's Basketball Non-Conference Ticket Sale Information
Single-game tickets for non-conference games go on sale on Oct. 16 for Flames Club members. For season ticket holders and group tickets, additional tickets go on sale on Oct. 20.
